This photographic project I carried out with my mother to celebrate her existence, her beauty, her cigratrices and for not giving up. She was born with a cleft lip and palate, lost her mother at the age of 8 and due to financial and family conditions, she had to live with unknown people who had better conditions in search of a better life. She went through many moments of sadness, loss, prejudice, rejection and even the fear of being a mother, of her children being born in the same condition as her and not being able to cope with it. As a son and artist, I invited her to do a photoshoot at home to show how beautiful she is inside and out.
